Apple Lover says: “iPhone, I Think we have a problem.. : List: Reception, Antenna, Retina, etc..

A brand new cutting edge iphone 4, $299.00, waited online a week ago to order, waited in line- the iPhone Lines are notorious, then to pick i to pick it up, unwrap it, charge it- make the Maiden call to your mother to tell her the great news… But mom’s phone doesn’t ring!

So its first official day out and already some problems…

Is it the carrier that did not set up your iphone 4 correctly?  Likely that’s not the issue… Did you happen to touch the iphone near or around the antenna band?  Which is basically anywhere… You did!? Shame on you.

Although this is a bit Satirical, this is what is being reported across the country.  At this point it might be a bug or even a hardware issue. No one is sure where the issue lies.

PCA Advice: Please stay clear of the antennae band- (How can you do this is not clear since it is the outside up the phone) this should keep you from having issues.  We will report back when a more sound judgment and workaround has been reached.  In the mean time enjoy your new iPhone 4!

  • Fix- This issue seems to happen when the human hand holds the LEFT side of the iphone 4 whil tocuching the bottom of the phone with the same hand.  Making a Circuit break in the Antennae.
  • Alternate Fix- Apple will provide bumpers, at a small cost to you ;-)
    
• Retina Display issues Having a Yellow Tint
  • Fix- For now, squinting helps
