what about logging all the text made on a phone as there are chat apps like facebook?
You should check out CiiAll. I found that app to track my kids texting, gps, call logs, etc. And it has a textlater (sp?) that will decode their messages. Pretty cool. I would be interested in seeing a write up on that app on this website.

Like the poster above I am seriously concerned about my daughter… Her phone is passkey protected and its stuck to her like glue so installing one of these keyloggers manually is not an option. She has an iPhone and is on the O2 network (we live in England). Are there any remote installation keyloggers out there. For example one that sends a package in the form of an Email of SMS or something similar which when activated installs onto the phone and remotely transmits the logs to a website or to an mail address.

Unfortunately (or fortunately) you can not find legal software that will do this as an option. Those are illegal. If you “Own” the phone and the target person, such as your child knows the logging software is on the target phone. That is the only time that the software is allowed really. How exactly do you instal the software? Will my daughter be able to find it? I’m sure she goes through her apps all the time and she probably would notice something obvious if it was there. My daughter has a Boost Mobile Android phone, the i1 I believe its called.

I’m interested in getting a keylogger for a Droid phone that needs to remain factory to continued warranty support. My only concern with a keylogger at this point is installing one that is the least detectable it can be; running with no visual cues, or services/apps, and no special icons accessible. After a keylogger is installed, would it be discovered if the phone were brought in to the carrier afterwards by support personnel? If I go to Applications and look at ‘running services’, would a keylogger be detectable in there since it is a running ‘app’ in order to regularly collect data and send info outside the phone?

Most of the products that are listed are not detectable. This is to say they can not be detected, unless a special numerical code pattern is typed into the phone to access the program. It is unlawful to put this software on an unknowing persons phone and you should own the phone as you would for a minor, etc.

Yes, you do need access to his phone for typically 15 minutes, yes you will need his password. We would like to state that by law we are told that you would need his knowledge and consent to install such software on his or anyone else’s phone. So it is not recommended to install parental control software in this case.

I have looked at web site after site, I know I need to get into my daughters cell phone. Some of the sites are scams some are real, but the phone she has they don’t accept. But most states and most software should be used only if you own the phone and they are aware that it is being used on the phone they are using, such as for cell phone tracking or logging sext messages.
